Our first camp, The Space Journey 1998, was held during the summer of 1998 in the middle of Los Angeles. This two day space camp was founded by Samuel Son & Chuck Chung from Boeing Aerospace to introduce space science to Korean-American middle school students. The camp provides a unique way for students to learn space science by performing experiments, building projects, and experiencing the practical side of science.

This year we are offering The Space Journey 2006, eighth Space Journey, at Caltech Avery Housing on Aug 18th & 19th. Since 2005, it has been co-sponsored by KASA (Korean-American Aerospace Scientists' Association) and KSEA (Korean-American Scientists & Engineers' Association) Southern California Chapter. These are non-profit organizations, and the camp is organized strictly by volunteers from local aerospace companies and local universities.
